The Cold Wave
(Copyright Audio by Matt C.)
The
cold wave had two episodes. First record-breaking cold air hit the
East of the U.S. Then, in January, a cold front brought heavy
snowfall. Schools, roads and business had to be closed, flights were
cancelled.
Because
of the cold 21 people were killed.
That
was the strongest cold wave since 1994.
Youtube is a good platform for your research. Have a look at the videos to see what happened.
